The Late Late Show lineup for tonight is very decent indeed

Jade Hayden

Who among us can’t appreciate a bit of the Farrell?

He’s talented, he’s a sound man, he starred in In Bruges with Brendan Gleeson which is the single most hysterical and also intensely upsetting movie of the 21st century.

He’s got it all going for him – and as it turns out, so do we, because we’ll get to watch him on tonight’s instalment of The Late Late Show.

Ideal scenario.

Colin will join Ryan Tubridy on the show tonight to chat about his latest film, Dumbo, the live action remake of the Disney classic.

Farrell plays the character of Holt Farrier, a war veteran and former circus star who is hired to care for the newborn elephant.

The remake also stars Michael Keaton, Eva Green, and Danny DeVito so, you know, decent enough cast one might say.

Colin will also be joined tonight by some of the Special Olympics medal holders to celebrate their achievements at the World Games in Abu Dhabi.

Also present in the studio will be Dancing With The Stars finalists Johnny Ward, Cliona Hagan and Mairead Ronan.

They’ll be chatting to Ryan about nerves, excitement, and whether 2019 will be the year for the first female winner of the reality show.

Domestic abuse survivor Jessica Bowes will speak about her decision to waive her anonymity after an assault by the father of her children left every bone in her face broken.

Left with life long physical and psychological damage, Jessica decided to tell her story to challenge the domestic abuse laws operating in Ireland at the time.

Jockey Rachael Blackmore and Gold Cup champion Paul Townend will also be on hand to discuss the recent Cheltenham festival, while music will come from Aslan and Screaming Orphans.

Decent lineup, in fairness.
