A riot broke out at the UFC 229 in Las Vegas over the weekend following Conor McGregor’s defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The fight was over when a horrific brawl broke out while Conor was still standing in the Octagon.

The riot began when four members of Khabib’s team jumped into the cage and reportedly began to attack Conor. This brawl then set off the crowd, as fights and chaos began to erupt around the arena and onto the streets surrounding the venue.

Many fans tweeted videos of the commotion from the arena.

From Scott Disick and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie to the McGregor family including Conor’s pregnant partner, Dee Devlin, many guests were quickly escorted from the fight to keep them safe and unharmed when pandemonium occurred.

Dee was spotted looking visibly upset as she was ushered out of the venue, as did Conor who followed his security team off the grounds.

And now, Conor’s mother Margaret, who was also present at the fight has shared a heartfelt message following her son’s defeat and UFC brawl.
