Remember ages ago when Tina McIntyre had a bit of an affair with Peter Barlow in Coronation Street and the two of them were fairly into each other and stuff?
You definitely do, it was a whole thing.
Tina tragically died soon afterwards, leaving Peter pining for his love interest. And last night, Peter was pining some more when a woman who supposedly looked the exact same as Tina showed up to the factory for an interview.
The woman had a giant bun on her head like Tina did, and she was wearing similar makeup… but she was from abroad so like, not exactly the lookalike fans were expecting to see on their screens.

Peter’s reaction was absolutely OOT too, like. He called her a “Mediterranean version” of Tina. Very unprofessional.
She’s similar enough, but you haven’t seen a ghost man, calm down.
Viewers thought the whole thing was a bit of a joke tbh, and they decided to take to Twitter to share lots of tweets about how much this woman doesn’t look like Tina McIntyre.
“Nope. Not a great Tina McIntyre lookalike,” wrote one person.
“The bird being interviewed looked nothing like Tina McIntyre lol,” weighed in another.
Someone else suggested that Michelle Keegan should’ve just come back for the episode and played a totally new character.
Not a bad idea, in fairness.
This came after viewers also noticed a fairly irritating continuity error in last night’s episode when Peter’s hair kept changing between shots.
No pleasing yiz.
