Here’s how to make your cheap bedsheets feel like Egyptian linen

So soft, so fresh.

Everybody likes staying in hotels.

You get your breakfast in bed, you get your room cleaned, you get your sheets changed when you like.

Ideal.

One of the best things about staying in a hotel honestly has to be the bedsheets.

Once you get past that initial struggle to actually get yourself in the bed because the duvet is for some reason tucked so deep into the side, you’re flying.

The bed might be hard, the room might be unfamiliar, but those sheets are always absolutely flawless.

You might think that having sexy, fancy hotel room sheets is only reserved for the few who have a lot of money and total notions about themselves, but you’d be quite wrong.

Because, as it turns out, anyone can turn their cheap, hard, (probably from Penneys, let’s be honest here) bedsheets into delicious Egyptian cotton using just two household items.

According to Hack My Life, washing your sheets with a cup of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar will make them the softest they’ve ever been.

The lads on the show did a blind test too and most people could hardly tell the difference between the cheap sheets washed in baking soda and vinegar and the actual expensive sheets.

Sound.

To get the best results, it’s recommended that people wash their sheets on a hot cycle, and then switch to cold once the rinsing happens.

Sure, you could just go out and buy yourself some fancy sheets, but who has the time (or the money) for such a luxurious feat?

Not us, anyway.
