Jack Tweed says he still can’t move on from Jade Goody 10 years after her death

Jade passed away from cervical cancer in 2009.

It has been 10 years since the devastating death of Jade Goody.

Jade sadly lost her life after a lengthy battle with cervical cancer.

Just one month before her death, Jade married Jack Tweed in a very emotional, but beautiful, ceremony.

And now, a decade later, Jack has opened up about what life has been like without her.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said:

“I did try and move on, but I think I sort of rushed into it, and was trying to look for a replacement and it didn’t seem to work.

“It wasn’t the right thing.”

“I can’t really, I don’t really have that feeling, the same feeling that I had for Jade, I can’t really feel that for anyone else.

“So I don’t think it’s the right thing to do to get into a relationship.”

However Jade’s mum Jackiey was also on the show, and told him that Jade would have wanted him to move on.

“She would love Jack to be happy and have someone, she would.”

“She’d like you to have children and have someone.”

Heartbroken Jackiey also spoke about her daughter.

“When people say, oh 10 years have gone so quickly. I don’t get it… 27th February got me because it was her wedding.”

“They never had a wedding life,” Jackie said tearfully. “If she was here now life would be very different.”

Jack also spoke about his relationship with Jeff Brazier, the father of Jade’s two sons.

“It’s been a difficult time because I had a whole family and then all of a sudden everything got taken away, jade, the boys…” he said.

“Every time I picture jade she was laughing. She such a happy or positive person,” he said. “I did try to move on but I tried to replace her… I don’t have that same feeling for anyone as I did for Jade.”
