This generation’s Frost/Nixon.

A load of rescue dogs are going to be on The Late Late Show tomorrow night making it the reason you’re about to cancel all of your Friday night plans.

The dogs will be joining Tubridy in the studio to chat all things Brexit, the UK’s withdrawal deal, and Theresa May’s controversial backstop plan.

Just kidding, they’ll be there to bark and lie down a bit while some lovely people from Dog’s Trust explain why buying a dog from a bad breeder is really not a good idea.

This comes as part of Dog’s Trust’s How Is That Doggy In The Window campaign, which seeks to highlights the harm caused to dogs who have been rescued from bad breeders.

Tubridy will also be joined by Oscar winner Glen Hansard, who will be talking about his new documentary, Camino Voyage.

Armed with a few essentials and some other artists, Hansard travelled 2,500km by currach boat from Ireland to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.

Actor Victoria Smurfit will also make an appearance to discuss her 14-year-old daughter’s diagnosis with Stargardt’s Macular Dystrophy – a condition that will eventually lead to blindness.

Taken Down‘s Blessing Moyo will discuss her experience living in direct provision after fleeing Zimbabwe in 2008 and Dancing With The Stars judge Julian Benson will be chatting about the Cystic Fibrosis foundation he set up.

Niamh Shaw will also be in the studio to discuss the prospect of being the first Irish woman in space.
