New photos suggest one of our fave Corrie stars is leaving the show

These paparazzi photos might have let the cat out of the bag.

Say it ain’t so!

He’s been like a little brother to us over the years (yes, we’re far too emotionally invested in Coronation Street for our own good), but it looks like Chesney Brown could be leaving the soap.

The Corrie favourite has been suffering big-time with anxiety since he was stabbed in July, struggling to leave the house and suffering with panic attacks.

The mental health-focused storyline is one that many young people can relate to and has had viewers gripped but it look like a Weatherfield exit is on the cards for him

New paparazzi photos show actors Sam Aston, who plays Chesney, and Alan Halsall (Tyrone) filming what appears to be a farewell scene.

In the shots, the pair share an emotional embrace as Tyrone drops Chesney to the airport, reports Digital Spy.

Sam, who’s 24, has played kind-hearted Chesney on the soap for 14 years and with no word of him leaving the show, we’re praying that Ches gets better and stays on our screens.
