If you’re a fan of Coronation Street, you’ll be more than well aware of how little there needs to be a big Corrie death this Christmas.
So many terrible things have already happened to the good people of Weatherfield this year – they need something nice, something good, something worth staying for.
… And then writers come along and say that Christmas is going to be an extremely stressful time for everyone involved and ruin everything.
Well, they didn’t say that exactly, but they hinted at it… And they also hinted that a long serving character could be in serious danger.
While we don’t know who exactly is going to be involved in all this uproar and what exactly’s going to happen, there have been a few theories floating about online.
The first is that Tracy Barlow is going to be killed for her involvement in last week’s car crash when she cut the brakes on Michelle’s car.
Tracy pinned the crime on Abi Franklin, meaning that she could go to prison for a long time unless something changes… or Tracy goes away.
Tracy’s demise could also come from her daughter, Amy, who is apparently going to have a serious shakeup in the lead up to the holiday season.
Viewers have already been shown Amy’s violent temper, but could she could one step further and actually kill her mother?
Or, will she kill Steve for cheating on her mother? Or will Tracy kill Steve for cheating on her?
Or will no one kill anyone and everyone will survive until 2019 at least.
It’s very possible. Only time will tell though.
