Ah, wha?

In case you didn’t know, Prince Harry’s getting married next month. To Meghan Markle of all people.

Shocking, we know.

The pair are getting married on May 19 and they’re very much in love and everybody’s very excited about it.

As we all know, Meghan’s real name isn’t actually Meghan. Or if you didn’t know, it’s Rachel.

We can rest easy however know that Prince Harry is exactly who he says he is… except he’s not, and the entire world is having a total breakdown over it.

Well, a few people are. Whatever, it’s news to us anyway so let’s just go with it.

As it turns out, Prince Harry was actually Christened Prince Henry. Like Henry VIII.

Stunning.

So why does everyone in the whole entire world call him Harry now?

Well, apparently Henry is another version of the old French name, Henri. And the English version of this name is Harry.

Since his early years, Kensington Palace and the press have been calling Harry ‘Prince Harry’ so people just caught on and have been calling him that ever since.

That’s all there is to it, to be honest.

People are still confused though. Here’s what they’re saying.

The prince’s full name is Henry Charles Albert David so, you know, at least we don’t have to go around calling him that.
