Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite song could not be more fitting

Queen Elizabeth

Sorry, this is amazing.

We really know very little about Queen Elizabeth II’s personal life.

She loves corgis and the occasional gin and tonic, but what else makes her tick?

Well, according to BBC DJ Chris Evans, the Queen of England has a penchant for ABBA.

Evans recently claimed that in 2008 his friend was invited to a private dinner in Windsor Castle.

Apparently, after a lovely meal and a few speeches, the guests had a little dance party.

At said dance party a DJ played “proper disco music”, with the Queen apparently expressing her love of ABBA.

Her fave ABBA song? Dancing Queen.

I swear you couldn’t make this shit up lads.

However, the Queen did reveal a list of her favourite songs for her 90th birthday, and ABBA was nowhere to be seen.

She probably keeps ABBA for more private events with close friends, so she can let her hair down.

And according to Lady Elizabeth Anson, the Queen’s cousin said: “The Queen is a fantastic dancer. She’s got great rhythm.”

There’s something I never thought I’d hear.
