She was amazing.

Losing a parent is undoubtedly one of the hardest things to go through, particularly when you’re young.

Rosie Connolly knows this all too well, having lost her father at the age of 18.

Last night, the influencer appeared on the Late Late Show, where she opened up about the experience of losing her dad.

Rosie explained that her experience was extreme, as her father died as a result of drowning.

Rosie went on to explain that throughout the whole ordeal, she only had her sister with her.

“My mum and my step dad were away at the time, so it was just me and my sister handling everything.”

That can’t have been easy.

Then, Rosie went on to talk about grief, and how she has struggled with it for the last 10 years.

She said that she has suffered badly from anxiety, getting paranoid every time her mum forgets to call her.

“When I don’t hear from her, my mind goes to that place. I just assume she’s dead.”

However, it wasn’t all doom and gloom, and Rosie explained that the anxiety and fear has faded.

“I went and spoke to the right people and got the help I needed”

“I’m not sure if it ever truly goes away, but it does get better.”

Rosie Connolly is such an inspiration to women all over the country, so it’s great to see her so willing to open up like this.

We love her!
