Our fav Strictly Come Dancing pro looks set to quit next year and nooo

Don’t go, Kev.

Kevin Clifton looks set to be moving on from Strictly Come Dancing next year due to tensions surrounding his relationship with his estranged wife, Karen.

The professional dancing pair called time on their three year marriage earlier this year, but continued to dance alongside each other during this series’ instalment of the show.

However, despite the likelihood of Kevin bagging his first ever win with partner Stacey Dooley, word on the BBC ballroom set is that producers are already figuring out who to replace him with.

The Sun reports that Kev has been chatting openly about finishing with Strictly for awhile now.

“Kevin has been overheard backstage saying he feels the time is right for him to move on,” a source told the publication.

They said:

“Winning the contest won’t weigh heavily on his decision.

“He has absolutely loved his time on the show and the opportunities that it’s given him but he is getting itchy feet and there’s still tension with Karen. While things are slowly getting more civil between them, it’s not exactly fun spending time around your ex.”

Fair, like.

Apparently, Strictly producers won’t be too devastated to see him go though, as they fear that big names are dodging signing up for the programme because of the so-called Strictly Curse.

“Kevin had played a pivotal role in the curse of Strictly and it’s a real concern of bosses that they won’t be able to sign up big names for fear of their relationships breaking down,” they went on.

C’mon lads.

He’s hardly Seann Walsh, like.
