Choosing what to study in college or university is probably one of the hardest decisions your child will make.
And whether they’re choosing as a 17-year-old fresh from school, or an adult who has decided to go back into education… they will always need to go with their gut and pick something that they’re genuinely interested in.
However, if they still want to earn a good wage, there are certain courses that they can choose… or not.
Business Insider has revealed the ten lowest paying degrees and what students earn five years after they finish it:

8. Biological sciences — €27,588
7. Combined (joint honours) — €27,570
6. Education — €27,419
5. English studies — €26,880
4. Psychology — €25,185
3. Communications (including media studies, journalism, and publishing) — €25,066
2. Agriculture & related subjects — €24,724
1. Creative arts & design — €22,584
In contrast to those figures, students who study Economics earn around €44,935 five years after they graduate.
