The important reason why Kate Middleton always takes the photos of her children

Could you blame her?

Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, always release official pictures for special family milestones.

When celebrating a birthday, a birth or a christening – Kensington Palace posts official photos on social media.

And we love it! It gives us a tiny glimmer into the lives of the royal family.

However, there is one rule that the Cambridges have when it comes to these photographs.

If Prince George and Princess Charlotte are in the pictures, Kate Middleton has to take them.

One reason for this is that The Duchess of Cambridge has a genuine interest in photography, and she’s damn good at it!

The main reason Kate takes these pictures is for privacy, while maintaining a good relationship with the media.

Kate and William allow certain moments in their lives to be captured, in exchange for an element of privacy.

Seems fair enough!

Royal commentator, Victoria Arbiter, said:

“Nothing is a given, but in terms of managing to keep a good relationship with the British media, it’s in William’s and Kate’s interest to release photos.”

Kate agrees to take pictures and share them, and the little royals are given a certain amount of privacy.

A win win.
