Aldi’s Baby Toy Week is coming and these are our five favourites from the range

Melissa Carton

The countdown to Christmas is on.

I don’t know how many people have said to me that it feels like Christmas starts earlier every year but it’s true.

We haven’t even passed by Halloween yet and already many stores have released their Christmas range of products.

Saying that as a parent it is handy that Christmas collections are released so early because it means you can deal with your Christmas to-do list at your own pace.

If you’re still on the look out for the right gift to buy for your baby or toddler or maybe even for a friend’s child, then you should definitely take a look at our five picks from Aldi’s Baby Toy range.

1) Tummy Time €12.99 –

My daughter had one of these when she was a baby and she absolutely loved it.

It helps to strengthen baby’s neck and shoulder muscles prior to crawling.

The tummy time toy is available in neutral or multi-colour and is suitable from birth.

2)Activity Table €29.99 –

This activity table has so much to do and will keep them occupied for hours.

It helps children with simple learning concepts such as animal, colour and shape identification.

The detachable legs also mean that you can change it from a stand-up table activity to floor play.

3) 6V Ride On Police/Fire/Unicorn €34.99 –

I want one of these for myself.

This fun ride on toy has a 6V rechargeable battery and charger, a large flashing siren, forward and reverse gears and working headlights.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use (dry weather only) and available in three styles it can be used by toddlers aged two years and over.

4)Baby Play Gym €34.99 –

Play gyms are a bit of a staple when it comes to baby gifts and would make a great Christmas or baby shower gift.

The entertaining play gym comes with multiple cushions, soft and plush velvet fabrics and includes five removable hanging toys.

5)Tiny Tears Classic Doll €18.99 –

Aldi will also be introducing some classic toys into their range including one of the best selling dolls of all time Tiny Tears.

The original classic doll that drinks water from a bottle, cries tears and uses the potty like a real baby. Tiny Tears has moveable arms, legs and head and is available with blonde or brunette hair.

My mum used to have a Tiny Tears that I loved playing with growing up but it went missing over the years so I might just have to pick one up my little girl for Christmas this year.

All these toys and more will be coming to Aldi stores on November 7.
