This dad dragging his child through an airport is the most relatable thing we’ve ever seen

If you've travelled with kids, you'll know.

Think you’re a relaxed, easy-breezy parent who never loses it?

You’ve obviously never travelled with your kids.

From packing and getting everyone into the car to keeping track of favourite soft toys and dealing with level-ten tantrums in front of horrified strangers, it can be chaos

The time between when you leave your home to when you arrive at your destination is hard work, broken only with brief periods of calm thanks to bribery and screen time.

Someone who clearly knows this all too well is the man who was filmed dragging his daughter through an airport by her hood recently.

He was captured on camera going through Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia in the US with his kids on New Year’s Day, reports CafeMom.

This was a dad who had had enough and didn’t care who knew – the clip shows him pulling her through the terminal and baggage claim by the hood of her coat while another daughter walks behind with their suitcases.

Neither he nor his daughter look too fussed about what’s going on – but the clip has provoked a strong reaction online.

Some of those who saw the video, which has been viewed over 7.8 million times on Facebook, were shocked by the man’s tactics but most people (probably those with kids themselves) saw the funny side.

“Me before children seeing this: “can you believe this parent? How awful I would never do that”
Me after having children: dude I feel ya carry on!”

“There are just some days that you gotta do what you gotta do!”

“Chances are the kid actually loved this.”

We say fair play to this guy – when travelling with children, any win is a win.
