New photo of baby Archie released to mark Prince Harry’s 35th birthday

Jade Hayden

Ah, wudyelook?

A few things are bound to happen when a royal has a birthday.

One of those things is that they wish themselves health and happiness via their own Instagram account. Another of that they don’t actually age because they’ve good genes/may or may not be human.

And another is that they’ll grace us, the beautiful Irish public, with a previously unseen photo of them doing something of note.

In this case, the birthday in question is that of Prince Harry – and the photo is a new one of himself, Meghan, and baby Archie.

How lovely.

The image is not the most high definition photo, mainly due to the fact that is was included in a collage featuring a lot of other nice photos of Harry.

The other photos, however, we’d probably seen before so no need to make a fuss about them.

Wishing a very happy birthday to His Royal Highness Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex!” wrote the anonymous social media manager, or Meghan, maybe.

“A birthday message from The Duchess of Sussex:

“Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday!”

The post also included a snap of Harry in the army, one of him as a newborn exiting a plane with Princess Diana, a shot of himself and William, and one of he and Meghan on their wedding day.

Essentially, there’s a lot of content are we’re fairly glad for it, yeah.

The photo of baby Archie was taken on his Christening, an event the family chose to have as private without the interference of press photographers.

Harry and Meghan also decided not to reveal Archie’s godparents, although it has recently been reported that the godmother is a close friend of Meghan’s, Isabel May.

Isabel, a PR specialist, was previously the head of communications with Burberry. She now works as chief marketing director for David Beckham’s company DB Ventures.

Harry’s school friend Charlie van Straubenzee was named godfather.
