Lidl Ireland’s long-time print supplier, McGowans Print, has created a 100% recyclable cardboard colour-in design for kids through a new business venture, Cardboard Magic.
The innovative idea has even made its way across the Atlantic with Cardboard Magic receiving the seal of approval from superstar John Legend with the singer posting a picture on his Instagram over the weekend of himself and son Miles enjoying a Cardboard Magic colouring session.

From this Thursday June 25, Lidl customers will be able to re-create a wholesome John Legend Sunday by getting their hands on the fun, eco-friendly colour-in designs in all 163 stores across the country while stocks last.
Lidl will be stocking four Cardboard Magic products from next week with a choice of various designs. If your kids love getting creative, these are the perfect choice for them.
Get your hands on the Large Colour-in Castle that John Legend loves for €29.99 or go for the Mini Colour-In Castle for €19.99.
If castles are not for you, try the fun Large Colour-in Playhouse for €29.99 or the mini version for €19.99.
With the weather starting to pick up, it’s a great way to pass the time with the kids while helping them to create a fun new playhouse for the garden (though they are also lots of fun to use indoors too).
Cardboard Magic’s range of products will be available in all 163 Lidl stores across Ireland from Thursday June 25.
