“Pave the way for a healing of the family rift”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to England for Christmas.

The parents are hoping to introduce their daughter Lilibet to the Royal Family.

Royal reporter Katie Nicholl revealed, “When Harry and Meghan left, they made it clear they didn’t want to give up their home in Britain. They still have Frogmore Cottage and their plan was to come back to the UK.”

“Christmas is being looked at as an opportunity. There may be a softening, which could pave the way for a healing of the family rift,” she explained.

“It’s certainly what the Queen wants. Prince Charles would like to see his grandchildren. A meet-up suggests they hope to move on and sort things out,” Nicholl added.

The last time Prince Harry and Meghan spent Christmas with the Royal Family was the December of 2019.

The parents announced they were stepping down as senior royals the following January.

Harry and Meghan spent quality time with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and the Cambridges at Sandringham Estate in 2019.

It is believed the family is hopeful this holiday reunion will mend their relationship.

Prince Harry has returned to the United Kingdom twice since moving to America with Markle and their son Archie.

He returned home for his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral and to unveil a statue of his late mother Princess Diana.

Sources say there is still tension following Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview, where they revealed members of the family were racist and unsupportive when Markle was suffering mentally.

However, the family is eager to move past these troubles and build their relationship with Harry and Meghan back up.

None of the royals have met their daughter Lilibet since her arrival in June 2021.

It is believed the Sussexes have been FaceTiming with Prince William and Kate over the last few months.

Sources claim the couples are eager to smooth things over and put their issues behind them.

Christmas at Sandringham will certainly be the perfect place to sort out their family drama.
