Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has stated that another lockdown may not be likely, but it cannot be ruled out.

Concerns have been raised as Ireland enters the colder, winter months.

He warned that hospitality restrictions could be re-introduced in the winter if the situation worsens.

Donnelly stressed that it “cannot be fully ruled out”, but seemed optimistic about the progress Ireland has made so far.

Met Éireann issues weather advisory for 10 counties

Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for 10 counties with heavy rain and flooding expected in the coming days.

Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Donegal, and all of Connacht have been included in the warning.

It is believed the advisory will remain in place until early Saturday morning.

Heavy rain could result in river flooding and localised flooding.

World: French Catholic Church abused over 200,000 children, report confirms

A report has found that members of the French Catholic Church abused over 200,000 children over the space of 70 years.

The church has been accused of protecting its clergy rather than the victims for years.

The report claims the number of victims could even increase to 330,000.

Pope Francis has expressed “great sorrow” for the victims.

“His thoughts turn first to the victims, with great sorrow for their wounds and gratitude for their courage in speaking out.”

Celebrity: Stacey Solomon gives birth to her first daughter.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have welcomed a baby girl together.

The mum-of-four confirmed her wonderful news on Instagram last night.

She gave birth to her tiny tot on the day of her birthday, October 4th.

Solomon has yet to reveal her daughter’s moniker, but she did open up about her home birth.

The All About You singer tested positive for Covid-19 at the end of September, meaning he had to miss out on week 2 of the show.
