Search for missing teenager stood down after body is discovered

Sean Carr had been missing since June 20th.

The search for a missing teenage boy Sean Carr has been stood down in Co. Wexford.

Gardaí stopped the search after the discovery of a body on Wednesday, June 22nd.

It is believed to be the body of Sean Carr.

Sean had been missing for two days before his body was found.

18-year-old Sean had been missing from Kullurin in Wexford since Monday, June 20th.

He was described as being 5’6 in height with a slight build.

He also had dark brown hair and brown eyes.

His family and Gardaí were concerned for his welfare.

Gardaí confirmed a man’s body was found today.

“Following the discovery of a body of a man in Killurin, Co. Wexford, on Wednesday 22nd June 2022, a missing person appeal in respect of Sean Carr has been stood down.”

A spokesperson added, “No further action is required and no further information is available at this time.”

They have thanked the public for their assistance in this search.
