This 3-year-old who packed his own lunch is really living his best life

Toddlers are the funnest creatures you will ever encounter.

They do things their own way, they don’t really give a toss what the rest of the world thinks about anything and they will scream the house down when things don’t go they way they want it to go. Because to toddlers, instant gratification is where it is at.

Which is obviously the case for this boy too – who just packed a lunch we are all secretly super jealous of.

A dad recently went on Reddit’s Daddit forum to share a photo of the flat out amazing lunch his three-year-old, Adam, had packed for himself. Everyone loves

And the internet loved it – because basically, it is joy – in photo form.

Cheese balls all around!

We’re not going to lie – we kind of wish our lunch box looked like this!

The picture, unsurprisingly, quickly gained a lot of likes and attention.

Speaking to Babble, Adam’s dad, Andy Rine, explains:

“We were watching TV, when I heard his little sister Alice wake up from her nap,” Rine explains to the parenting site. “I went to get her out of her crib and while I was gone he went to the kitchen and grabbed a large container of cheese puffs his grandparents had given him in his Easter basket.”

Cheese balls, to be fair, are Adam’s favorite according to his dad— which explains everything.

“When I returned to the room he told me, ‘Look, I put my lunch in my lunchbox,'” Rine explains. “I was a little frustrated because I was the only parent at home at the time, but we cleaned it up together and had a good laugh.”

And that, we think, is just the thing about toddlers. You have to laugh at the madness and crazy – because when it’s over, and trust me on this, you will miss these days.
