5 super-cute Valentine’s craft projects that’ll keep the kids busy all day

Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to get crafty, particularly if you’ve got some little people in the house.

Thanks to the wealth of free printables available online, you don’t even have to be an amateur artist to produce something fabulous so cover the kitchen table in newspaper, dig out some glitter and craft scissors and get to work on a special card for your true love (or loves!).

Get an extra hour or two out of the project by suggesting cards for Nana or Grandad, the family pets and the postman – the results can be hilarious.

An old piece of wood, some nails, a hammer and some colourful yarn are all you need to create this stylish wall hanging. Once the nails are in, older children can wind the wool. We think the finished product would make a gorgeous gift.
