According to a study, baby teeth are a rich source of stem cells, which can be grown into multiple other types of cells if required.
While that may not sound overly important to you when you’re trying to sneak their tooth out from under their pillow, it could potentially make a huge difference later in life.
The study found that if the teeth were preserved quickly enough, the stem cells inside could be kept for years to be used if your child would need replacement tissue at some point.
