Remember when you were kid-free and carefree? When you could drop everything and party ’til the sun came up? Reclaim that feeling for one night only at Clandestine, a BYOB bash in a secret location organised by Still Here, who say: “Once every six months the tilt of a planet’s semi-axis, is most inclined toward the star that it orbits. The star then reaches its highest position in the sky as seen from the north or the south pole, so cosmically speaking, this calls for a party.” Reason enough for us. Tickets here.

There’s just something about a great movie and a warm summer evening that go together so darn well. With summer breezing in, now is the perfect time to start planning a movie night with a few friends. With breathtaking locations under the stars in Dublin, Europe’s Finest Moonlight Outdoor Cinemas evoke the magic of the silver screen. Keep an eye on their Facebook for the details on a June 12 screening. Movies will be decided by vote.

Dine at a Michelin worthy pop-up

June 10-14, Sligo Town, €65

This year’s Só Sligo Food Festival falls on the 150th birthday of W.B. Yeats. The line-up includes a Yeats Nobel dinner at the Radisson, but our money’s on Aniar’s pop-up restaurant at The Model arts centre on June 10, where chef and co-founder of the only Michelin Star restaurant in the West of Ireland, JP McMahon will be showcasing the best of his renowned menu. The €65 ticket includes five tasting courses and three glasses of wine. Bargain.

Staying in?

If we were to invent an ice cream, it would be Peanut Butter flavour with Peanut Butter Cookies and Crumbled Peanut Butter Cookie Core. Now Ben & Jerry’s have done it for us with their Utter Peanut Butter Clutter Cookie Core and we are eternally grateful. Take to the sofa with a tub (Tesco, SuperValu) and two spoons.

Watch: Netflix has already renewed the comedy series Grace and Frankie for a second season, set to debut in 2016. The show stars Jane Fonda (“Grace”) and Lily Tomlin (“Frankie”) as two women whose lives are turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them… for each other. Still on the fence? It’s from executive producers Marta Kauffman (Friends) and Howard J. Morris (Home Improvement) and we can confirm: it’s hilarious.
