The father hit back strong.
One dad has called out an online troll for his homophobic comments on a picture of his daughter.
The dad shared a picture of his daughter’s impressive Thor costume she wore for Halloween on Reddit, saying:
“My youngest daughter as Thor, her favourite superhero.
“She loves dressing up. Spiderman and Thor are her favourites.”
The post was receiving a lot of love before it was attacked by one troll who said:
“This is how you create a lesbian. Better counteract now.”
The comment was naturally slammed by many users, but none more so than the girl’s father, himself.
“So, you think there is something wrong if my daughter was to grow up to be lesbian?
“As her father, all I want for my daughter is for her to grow up, be happy and be healthy.
“If she grows up to be gay and that makes her happy so be it.”
The dad continued to hit out at the person who posted the hateful comment, adding:
“You really need to take a look in the mirror and think do you want to be that person who tried to somehow, in your twisted way, insult a six-year-old who is clearly happy dressed as her favourite superhero?”
Many others chimed in to rightfully defend the girl’s impressive costume which quickly silenced any other users thinking of posting negative comments.
