‘Aren’t we just all sick of judging each other?’

Danielle Lloyd uploaded an Instagram post last night where the mother of four spoke out about body shaming and how it needs to stop.

The 33-year-old welcomed baby number four last week and sharing a photo of her body ‘1-week post baby’, she said ‘this is me, simply me’.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant then went on to say that no woman should worry about judgement from other people ‘after bringing a new life into the world’.

She continued in the same vein, saying that it doesn’t matter who you are, ‘Cheryl, Chanelle Hayes or Serena Williams’, ‘everyone is on a journey’ and everyone is trying their best.

However, a number of people have commented on the post and said that it was unfair of Danielle to share such a post, as her post-baby body could make other mums feel under pressure to look the same.

There's been a lot in the press this week about what mums who have recently given birth are 'supposed' to look like. I had my baby one week ago, and this is me. Simply me. I've had no time to go to the gym or diet in a week, of course I've been with my newborn. But should I really be ashamed of how I look for fear of judgement? Carrying a few extra pounds, or not – breast-feeding or bottle-feeding. Aren't we just all sick of judging each other? Whether you're Cheryl, Chanelle Hayes or Serena Williams – should any of us even be worrying about what people think of our bodies after bringing a new life into the world? We're all on a journey, all doing our best, and all have imperfections. I've had four children and I'd never dream of sneering at another mum's body. Let's all start focusing on what's REALLY important, looking after our kids – and focussing on our families rather than our bodies.??‍♀️??

Some even suggested that Danielle’s post was purely for publicity instead of empowerment.

Danielle has 444k followers on Instagram and this gives her a massive platform to put across an important message, but the way in which she approached it has angered a large number of social media users.

Not all of the feedback was negative with other mums saying that they appreciated her words and to ‘ignore the haters’.

Danielle’s fourth child is her first with fiancé Michael O’Neill and the couple have not yet revealed the little one’s name. The Liverpool native is also mother to George, Archie, and Harry, her sons with former husband Jamie O’Hara.
