Helen Flanagan has sparked a debate about co-sleeping.
The former Coronation Street star revealed in her latest column for OK! magazine that she still sleeps with her baby girl Matilda, who turns one later this month.
She wrote:
“I’m still sleeping with her – I’ll stop when she reaches one. I want to get her into a better routine and she won’t go into a cot. I know that’s probably my fault.”
“It’s so cute sleeping next to your baby and I’ll never have that time back again. She feels safe knowing where we are. I also get a better night’s sleep if she’s in with us.”
Following on from this, television show This Morning asked their viewers about whether they co-sleep.
While the majority said that they didn’t, many people took to Twitter in support of it. Here’s what they had to say…
@itvthismorning why are people bothered about what other parents do? It concerns no one whether we share a bed or not #CoSleeping #whocares
