George Clooney says he gets up with Amal when she nurses the twins

He's a real hands on dad.

George Clooney has said he feels guilty if he doesn’t get up with his wife Amal every three hours while she is nursing the twins.

The couple welcomed their first children together earlier this year, and it looks like the Oscar winner has been a real hands on dad.

The Ocean’s 11 star admitted he’s happy to help with the late night feedings – and starts to feel guilty if he doesn’t wake up.

He told Entertainment Tonight:

“I do every three hours [and] if I don’t get up, I feel guilty, you know?

“My wife is up nursing every three hours so it’s a lot of work, but it’s fun!”

George and Amal welcomed their twins, Ella and Alexander, earlier this summer.

And while the couple’s children aren’t with them while George promotes his new film Suburbicon, it looks like they’re never too far away.

The proud dad said:

“They’re in L.A. and I Facetimed with them a few minutes ago.”

And the Oscar winner admitted he’s starting to look into different acting roles now that he’s become a father.

He explained:

“I think you have to look at your career over a long period of time and figure out what’s best to do, and actually, I’m looking for different kinds of roles now.”

And the 56 year old, who previously told how he feels his leading man days are behind him, brought out his sense of humour as he discussed future roles.

He joked:

“You got to keep putting a softer lens on the camera, it’s just no good anymore.”
