Gwyneth Paltrow proves blended families can work as ex-husband accompanies her on honeymoon

She said it was a “very modern honeymoon”.

Back in 2014 Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced that had split up. They termed it “conscious uncoupling” and while it elicited some raised eyebrows at the time, their commitment to remain amicable seems to have worked for the Gwyneth and Chris.

They have remained good friends and close parents for their children 12-year-old Apple and 10-year-old Moses and Gwenyth has often shared pictures of Chris over in her house alongside new husband, Brad Flachuk.

Continuing their blended family success story, Gwyneth has now revealed that Chris even accompanied the newlyweds on honeymoon to the Maldives.

The 46-year-old actress appeared on Kelly and Ryan and said that she had a “very modern honeymoon” which comprised of her husband, his kids, her kids, her ex-husband and close family friends.

The hosts couldn’t quite believe it, but after the slight shock wore off Ryan Secrest said, “you all have happiness, which is the goal.”

Similarly, Kelly Ripa said, “you guys are living your best lives.” She also made an excellent suggestion, that Gwenth should write a book about how to divorce without too much animosity.

While divorce can be a tough time for everyone involved, Gwenth said her and Chris just wanted to “minimize the pain for the kids. They just want to see their mum and dad around a dinner table… we try to keep that.”

What an amazing sentiment.
