When we heard how much Kim K spent on her newborn’s nursery we were sick

Jade Hayden

Ah, Jesus.

The Kardashians have a lot of money – this is no secret.

And if they wanted to try and keep it a secret, they’d have a hard time doing it considering the amount of time they spend videoing each other driving Lamborghinis around the place.

At the end of the day, it’s grand though – they made their fortune and well for them.

The rest of us peasants will simply have to continue counting our pennies in the run-up to payday and watch on forlornly as our phone gets cut off for the fourth time in 12 months due to lack of bill payment.

It’s grand.

That being said though, when we found out how much Kim Kardashian had spent on newborn Chicago’s nursery, we felt fairly unwell.

The reality star took to her app yesterday to show fans the “neutral” decor she had decided on for the space, and although Kim doesn’t go so far as to reveal exactly how much she spent herself (she’s hardly going to brag about it, come on), The Sun has worked out how much the new mum dropped on the nursery.

Over €100,000.

See? We told you it’d make you gag.

On her app, Kim said:

“I love having functional pieces, like a glider, mixed in with really unique pieces, like a vintage Royère bed…

“I also ended up using the same crib, dresser and rug that I used for North and Saint!”

She is using hand-me-downs, in fairness to her. Maybe we’re not all so different after all.

Pieces from Jean Royère start at about €60,000 though so, you know, bit different to what we’d be picking up at Mothercare.

Similarly, cribs from Vetro sell for about €3,700, at least.

Add that to the rugs, the bassinet, and all the others bits in the room, and you come out with about 90 grand worth of things.

We just hope baby Chicago has enough self-awareness to appreciate it all.
