Last week, we had a look at what your palm claims to tell you about the amount of children you will have. This week, we’re looking at the marriage line.
Your marriage line is located, like the children lines, under the base of the little finger however it is horizontal as opposed to vertical. It should also be easier to see.
Now we won’t go into all the different scenarios and shapes (there are a LOT) but here are some of the basics…
- Lighter lines apparently indicate romances while strong lines indicate marriages or relationships.
- If you have more than one line, it suggests that you will have more than one.
- The longer the line, the longer the relationship. The deeper the line, the happier the relationship.
- They say that the closer the line to the base of the finger, the later in life it’ll be.
- If there is a fork at the beginning of the line (towards the outside of the hand), it seems to signify a long engagement.
- A fork at the other end (towards the palm of the hand) it apparently signifies a separation of sorts. A broken line implies temporary separation.
- If the line droops downwards at the end, it is believed to mean that the person will outlive their spouse.
So there you have it, it appears that your love life is in the palm of your hand… only time will tell if it’s actually true! (Let’s just say, I won’t be holding my breath.)
