Holly Willoughby has passionately defended breastfeeding mums

Holly Willoughby has passionately defended mums who breastfeed their babies in public.

The mum-of-three waded in on a heated This Morning debate on the issue of public breastfeeding after a mother was publicly shamed for feeding her baby in a pub.

Sheldon Sparks, a retail manager, was disgusted to see a mum enjoying a glass of wine whilst breastfeeding her baby in a local pub. Sheldon then publicly shamed the breastfeeding mama by sharing his outrage on social media.

While debating the topic on This Morning, Holly made it clear exactly where she stood on the matter,

“It’s to feed her child – I understand if you were out with your breast out…that would be different.

Breastfeeding is not that easy! It’s difficult!

Some babies can’t feed under a cloth because they don’t like being in the dark. It’s not that easy. I don’t think it’s that easy.”

Lots of mamas took to Twitter to thank the 36-year-old presenter for defending breastfeeding mums.
