Join our paediatric dietitian for a FREE Q&A on baby nutrition and weaning at Dundrum Town Centre

Amanda Cassidy

I found nutrition the single most challenging part of parenting when my children were babies.

Lack of sleep and being puked on were nothing compared to the panic of being responsible for every vitamin that goes in (or doesn’t) to their little bodies. Not only did I obsess how much milk they were taking in a single feed but when it came to weaning, nutrition and pureeing I was completely stressed out.

There is so much conflicting information and, not being the world’s best chef, I felt like a fish out of water trying to whip up wonderful healthy creations between doing tummy time and naptime and playtime and all the rest. Exhausting. So if you are like me and want to get some honest tips on weaning, healthy snacks and what nutrition your baby needs, we have you covered.

We have teamed up with Dundrum Town Centre to host a FREE parenting event on nutrition with paediatric dietitian and mum, Cathy Monaghan from weaning.ie.

It’s part of our six week series on “How to survive parenthood.” Cathy will answer all your questions on everything from:

What nutrients does your baby need?

Getting baby to eat what you eat.

Free Sugars – what are they?

What about Salt?

What is iron deficiency anaemia?

Educating your baby’s taste buds?

Picking recipes & reading labels.

So pop over to Movies@Dundrum in the Town Centre at 9.30am next Tuesday the 28th February and we will be there to chat about all things baby weaning. Bring your baby (or your bump) and we will bring the coffee.
