Loose Women’s Andrea McLean admits to biting her son when he was younger

“It was just a little nibble.”

Loose Women’s Andrea McLean admitted to biting her son Finlay when he was younger to keep him from hurting other kids.

The TV presenter was talking about the topic of “biters” on the chat show earlier this week with guest star Rebekah Vardy.

It all began when the I’m A Celeb campmate recalled how her own mum had bitten her to teach her not to bite.

Rebekah recalled:

“I bit someone and my mum bit me back to teach me a lesson.”

But as the audience member murmured in shock, Andrea admitted to taking the same extreme measures when it came to her son.

As her fellow panellist Nadia Sawalha looked shocked at Rebekah’s story, the mum-of-two confessed:

“I think it’s slightly different if you’re really little.”

Nadia then asked Andrea if she would take the same measures, to which the presenter replied:

“I’ve done it!

“I was like, ‘this hurts, see’… and gave them a little nibble.”

But it looks like the “little nibble” had a big effect on Finlay, now 17, as Andrea said he never did it again.

The presenter shares her teenage son with her ex, BBC producer Nick Green.

She also shares a 12-year-old daughter named Amy with Our House presenter, Steve Toms.
