“They grow up so quickly.”
Mark Zuckerberg and Dr Priscilla Chan’s toddler daughter celebrated a massive milestone this week: her first day at preschool.
The proud dad shared a photo of 2-year-old Maxima ‘Max’ getting ready for her big day.
In the photo, both mum and dad are crouched down to talk to their eldest daughter ahead of her starting preschool.
He captioned the sweet snap:
“First day of preschool. They grow up so quickly.”
And Max was dressed up in an extra special outfit to meet her teachers and classmates.
The toddler wore a turquoise sweater and white patterned tights. She had her hair half tied up in a ponytail and brought a green backpack with her.
It comes as the proud parents welcomed their second child together last summer.
They announced that they had fittingly named their second daughter, born in August, August.
The parents shared an adorable family photo with her sister Max alongside an open letter, which is focused on childhood.
His post began:
“Priscilla and I are so happy to welcome our daughter August!
“We wrote her a letter about the world we hope she grows up in, and also hoping she doesn’t grow up too fast.”
The letter goes on to urge August to “make time to go outside and play” and “take time to smell the flowers”.
