Michael Bublé’s music video about how quickly our kids grow will have you crying

Melissa Carton

This is just too sweet.

I remember when I first had my son seven years ago I was told to make the most of every moment because I would blink and suddenly he’d be 18. Some days it really does feel that way.

Looking through old photographs it seems like only yesterday that he was learning to walk and now he’s heading into second class.

Canadian singer Michael Bublé recently released a music video about being a parent watching how quickly their child grows and it got us right in the feels.

Seeing as the song begins with ‘first time I held you in my arms I knew I’d love you all the way’ we know it’s going to be an emotional ride.

The music video for Bublé’s song Forever Now shows a child’s bedroom changing from their nursery to when they move out and leave home and it’s hard not to be on the brink of tears throughout.

Many parents commented on the video saying that it was incredibly relatable;

“First child being dropped off at college today, and someone shared this on FB. This is exactly how life looked like with him, and now I’m overwhelmed.”

“I didn’t even make it 50 seconds before I started tearing, and by the end I was full on bawling.”

Not only is the video heartwarming but the sentiments written into Forever Now will hit close to home for many parents and I highly recommend giving it a watch…if you can make it the whole way without crying that is.
