Her reason for doing so is causing drama.

What do you think?

A mother has caused controversy online for putting breast milk in brownies she brought to a school bake sale. The reason she caused a stir was because she didn’t tell anyone that she used her own breast milk AND she also said that the children needed the nutrition.

Then someone found out and got annoyed. She shared her story on Facebook and is facing a lot of backlash, particularly because she added the line about the nutrition.

In the post she said:

“I need some advice. I made brownies for my school bake sale that had breastmilk in them.

I didn’t have time to run to the store, and didn’t think it was a big deal (some of those kids could use the nutrition to be honest).

One of the other moms found out and are blowing it way out of proportion. Idk [I don’t know] what to do!”

It was shared again on the parenting Facebook group Sanctimommy:

Naturally, people are outraged that this even occurred:

“Honestly this is actually a damn near criminal offense! Breast milk, like blood or semen, can carry diseases, which is why legit donation services screen the milk before passing it along to moms and their babies. Secretly feeding children that aren’t yours baked goods with your bodily fluids in them in gross, shady and borderline psychotic.”

“I’m ashamed just reading that! She should have made kale and coconut oil smoothies if she truly cared about their nutrition.”

“First of all, I’ve never seen a brownie recipe that used milk. Second of all, why not use a little water instead? Third of all, not cool.”

Others are making jokes about her blasé approach to substituting breast milk for regular milk:

“It’s like that one time I made lemonade with my urine because I ran out of water and didn’t feel like going to the store to get more.”

“Personally, I ran out of oil and decided to use vaccines because, let’s be honest, some of those kids could use a little more immunity.”

“First of all, I’ve never seen a brownie recipe that used milk. Second of all, why not use a little water instead? Third of all, not cool

“Once she uses her own eggs, then she can brag about nutrition. Amateur.”

One person saw the funny side of this saying, “Not gonna lie, I’m kinda curious if that would work… And a little impressed with her pumping skills. And I kinda wanna prank people and do this.”
