Is there any need?
A mother in the UK has shared her disappointment and anger at seeing a sexist message on a hat belonging to her daughter.
The hat in question is from Missguided, and includes an unusual line within the cleaning instructions which reads, “…or give it to your mum she’ll wash it.”
Sion Robson was so annoyed that she called out the clothing company on Twitter for including the message and suggested that it’s not just up to mums to wash their children’s clothes, dad’s are more than capable to do it too.
Sharing a photo of the cleaning instructions tag, she said, “#everydaysexism Maybe it’s just possible Dad is capable of putting on a wash too!?”
