Mum turns cardboard boxes into incredible play kitchen

A DIY for all of the boxes from yesterday!

Katie Mythen-Lynch

A bakery owner has wowed the internet after she created an incredibly detailed miniature play kitchen for her baby daughter… out of recycled cardboard boxes.

Rodessa Villanueva-Reyes, from the Philippines, shared photographs of the project on Facebook in an effort to show other mums and dads that it’s not always necessary to spend a fortune on expensive toys.

It started out like this:

Then the creative mum got busy with the glue gun and markers and now Little Audrey (1) has her very own sink (made from an old baking tray), hob (drawn with a Sharpie) and picture window, as well as a fridge, oven and microwave and working cupboards.

A sign reads ‘Audrey’s Café and Restaurant’ and there’s even a laptop so the tiny entrepreneur can manage her business like a pro.

If she’s anything like her mum, this kid is going places.
