She’s a genius.

The only thing worse than a sick baby is a sick baby who won’t take his medicine.

They cough and they sputter and they do whatever they can to avoid taking those meds… and to be honest, we don’t really blame them either.

Helena Lee is a mum who found herself in this exact situation.

Her baby, Alfie, kept spitting his medicine out.

For a whole day and night, Helena just couldn’t manage to get her baby to take the liquid.

Then she remembered an old trick that she had seen working before.

“Not one bit got wasted,” she wrote. “And no tears.”

The photo set shows the syringe that came with the medicine bottle inserted inside of the baby bottle’s teat.

Instead of placing the syringe directly into the baby’s mouth, keeping it inside of the teat meant that baby Alfie didn’t know any different.

… And mum Helena made sure that her baby took his medicine.

Facebook users were very impressed by the mum’s hack too.

Since the post was published over the weekend, it’s already garnered over 37,000 likes and 44,000 comments.

“Such a cool idea,” said one person.

“I wish I had known about this when my one was little,” wrote another.

So do we guys, so do we.
