The mum-of-four has revealed her secret to success.

Kelly Clarkson has been speaking out about the challenges that come with being a parent to four little ones.

The singer says after a long day with her kids, a glass of wine can work wonders.

“They are challenging,” she told People magazine. “Wine is necessary!”

Yes, the mum-of-four says that sometimes there’s nothing she enjoys more than sitting down at the end of the day with a glass of red.

“They’re great but they sometimes say stuff where you’re like ‘Damn!’

“They call you out. They teach me.”

However, when it comes to what she wants to teach them, Kelly says while it may sound silly it’s very simple.

“I know it sounds silly but kids teach you to be a better human.

“I hope with our two boys and our two girls that they see their parents as successful, loving and respectful people becaue that’s what we want for them.”

Kelly is mum to three-year-old River Rose and 21-month-old Remington Alexander with husband Brandon Blackstock, and Savannah and Seth from Blackstock’s previous relationship.

However, when it comes to having more kids, Kelly says that’s not on the cards. When asked if she is done having children, Kelly quickly responded, “Absolutely!”
