People are making an assumption about one of Holly Willoughby's children and it's very personal

The conversation was sparked after she posted a picture of her children’s toys on Instagram.

An innocent photo on Holly Willoughby’s Instagram account has seen her embroiled in a debate over whether or not her four-year-old son Chester has autism.

The picture in question featured the little boy’s toy vehicles neatly arranged in concentric circles, with a stuffed animal in the middle.

Holly captioned the adorable snap, “Vehicles and Animal(s) by Chester…” and since posting it yesterday, her followers have been quick to speculate whether or not her son has a developmental disorder.

People seemed to think that because the picture was so orderly, it could be an indication that Chester might have autism.

One parent wrote:

“As soon as I saw this it took me back to when my autistic son was younger.”

“Omg that’s exactly what my autistic son used to do. He hated it if you moved one out of place,” a second added.

Others were quick to mitigate the situation by saying:

“Everyone’s an expert on autism these days!! I did this with my toys as a kid and guess what! Im not autistic… Just a kid playing.”

And others were quick to point out that there are many signs of autism and every child is different, so one picture proves nothing.

More importantly, the general consensus from her reasonable followers was that people should keep their opinions about other people’s children to themselves.

Too right!
