People are calling Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis ‘lazy’ parents

What do you consider to be “lazy” parenting?

Is it even a thing?

Can’t we all just agree that all parents are only doing their best and that no child will benefit from the exact same things as another child will benefit from and that saying somebody is doing a bad job is just harsh and rude?

If a child isn’t in any harm and loved unconditionally, surely that should be enough?

For some people though, it isn’t, and they want to make sure that everyone knows about it.

The latest parents to be branded “lazy” are Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.

It was recently revealed on podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard that the pair invested in a robotic crib that rocked your baby to sleep for you.

Ashton said that he and Mila were only delighted with the purchase (that only set them back over €1,500, by the way), because it allowed their youngest child, Dimitri, to get six hours sleep when he was still a newborn.

Ashton said:

It was like a six hour sleeper and I am eternally grateful to the Snoo for that.”

Impressive, indeed.

Some people, however, weren’t all that impressed that Ashton and Mila had decided to splash out for the Snoo crib.

They thought it was “lazy” and that having a robotic crib was “unnecessary” when trying to get your baby to sleep.

One person on Facebook wrote: “Nothing can replace the human touch, use the money for baby’s education.”

Another argued: “What is wrong with the world, babies need love, holding, and cuddling.”

However, other parents have defended Ashton and Mila, saying that sometimes people will try anything to get their baby to sleep when nothing else will work.

“Moms have the right to do whatever it takes hear me?” wrote one mum. “If my kid only sleeps after a bath you better believe I’ll give him four baths a day.”

Ashton and Mila have two children together – Wyatt and Dimitri.

They married in 2015.
