The dad-of-four spoke amid growing criticism of Katie.
Peter Andre has spoken out about co-parenting with Katie Price in a candid interview as criticism of the mum-of-five continues.
Peter spoke about raising 13-year-old Junior and 11-year-old Princess with his ex-wife and how the pair split custody.
However, the dad-of-four grew defensive when he believed the interviewer was asking about the recent headlines around Katie and her new boyfriend Kris Boyson.
When asked if Junior and Princess are around the home more lately, Peter said:
“I can’t really say anything about that – I’m so sorry,” he told Reveal.
“I know you’re not asking a direct question, but indirectly, if I answer, it will come across a bit wrong.”
However, Peter went on to say that he has to be strict with his two oldest children, saying that he’s trying to ensure they don’t make the same mistakes he did growing up.
“They’re good kids. They’ve been very fortunate at their school – it’s very strict.
“And I tell them, whatever you do, Dad will hear about it, so just think how Dad would feel about it.
“I made so many mistakes as a kid, but it’s about trying to teach your kids not to make the same mistakes.”
This comes after Katie was forced to deny reports that she had had two children removed from her home and placed in foster care.
