Photographer Shows What It’s Like To Have a Childhood Without Technology

These days, technology is a big part of our lives. It’s also a big part of our kids’ lives. In fact, it’s hard to imagine a world without televisions, iPods and tablets.

But it does exist and Niki Boon’s family is proof of that. She is a photographer who lives on a 10-acre property in New Zealand and her four kids are, in her own words, “unschooled and live life without TV or modern electronic devices.”

On her website, she explains that it is “a lifestyle that may seem unconventional to some.” She also explains that she likes “to celebrate the magical place” where they live through her work by documenting their days on her website (Niki Boon PhotographyFacebook page and Instagram account.
