As a parent, a mum, there are so many things, so much knowledge and wisdom, you would want to pass on to your children.
Be kind. Believe in yourself. Make a difference. Learn to say no. Eat healthy. Find your passion and set the world on fire. These are just some of the many things I always try to remind and model and teach my own two children.
When it comes to lessons, though, we are currently loving these ones, passed on the next generation of working women by their very powerful working mums (and dads)—now made public thanks to an ongoing campaign, called “To my daughter.”
The individual lessons vary, of course, from parent to parents, but are equally powerful and inspirational, we think.
Created by executive search firm Egon Zehnder, ‘To My Daughter’ is part of a larger Leaders & Daughters initiative designed to highlight obstacles standing in the way of the next generation of professional women—and work with current leaders to overcome them.
