Little girl tries to convince parents of extra week off school with brilliant note

HerFamily

Whether you attempted forging a note once upon a time or not, you’ve got to appreciate this little lady’s attempts to get more time off school.

That’s right, she went against the trend (which sees children trying to forge notes and signatures from their parents to their teachers) and produced a note allegedly from her teachers to her parents.

But it wasn’t just any old note, it was a note explaining that “the school company” was “taking a brake” therefore the pupils were going to have one more week off.

It also had a place for her to sign her name as well as a stamp to make the letter more legitimate.

It reads: “The school company is taking a brake so the kids will get one more week of school off and we will need your child to sign their name here: Ciara G [sic].”

Unfortunately the girl’s mother was quick to dismiss the note, which she subsequently uploaded to Reddit and captioned: “My daughter got the mail today (it’s Sunday), apparently they have another week off school.”

A number of Reddit users were quick to praise the efforts of the child, pointing out why they feel the letter is authentic.

One wrote: “The stamp really makes it legit. No stamp, I would have thought it was fake. One more week for sure. Like every layperson just has authoritative stamps lying around. Has to be legit.”

We could not agree more… especially if it prolongs our Christmas holidays too!
