Multitasking mama! Pink’s breastfeeding snap is everything

But not everyone is comfortable with what they see.

Louise Carroll

This little baby is one lucky duck. Not only is Pink his cool mama, he gets to join in on all the backstage shenanigans.

On Saturday, P¡nk posted a photo on Instagram showing the singer having her makeup and hair done before performing on stage in Québec, Canada. Oh, how we wish we were there.

Anyway, in the photo P¡nk is also breastfeeding her little 6-month-old baba Jameson which she says “… can multitask too.” Ok, so we don’t all have hairdressers and stylists making sure we look spectacular on a regular basis (one can only dream) but breastfeeding – that plenty of mamas can relate to.

We must say we’re loving P¡nk’s zero fu**s given approach because when baby is hungry, baby needs feeding, wherever and whenever that may be.

Some Instagram users however were less than pleased about her sharing the beautiful picture with the world. It seems that yes, there are people out there who still think breastfeeding is unpleasant or awkward to see. *Sigh*

One user said,

“Okay… I love pink but why would she put a pic of herself breastfeeding? Like if u agree.”

Em, no. We do not agree. Another said,

“Shiting is also natural… so let’s post how we shit.”

Clearly incomparable. Who are these people making our blood boil?! Thankfully, the good far outweighed the bad and if you scroll through the comments, they’re largely positive and delightful.

“Pink, you are amazing for showing your breastfeeding at its best: when it’s happening! We love you.”

Another supporter of the 37-year-old mama said,

“Honestly, praise to you in a current society that would most likely disapprove of this shot in these days. You and your son are beautiful.”

It’s clear P¡nk was trying to make a point regarding breastfeeding – a purely natural phenomenon which no mama anywhere should ever feel they need to hide from society. And we particularly love when outspoken and honest women like P¡nk gets on board. Go mamas!
