When a fast-talking fox goes on the run after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit, Zootropolis’s top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his bushy tail. When the unlikely pair both become targets of a conspiracy however, they are forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends.
And so begins the latest animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios – the people who brought us Frozen.
Starring Ginnifer Goodwin as Officer Judy Hopps, a rabbit from Bunnyburrow who is a newly appointed member of the Zootopia Police Department, Jason Bateman as Nicholas P. “Nick” Wilde, a red fox who is a small-time con artist and Shakira as as Gazelle, a famous pop star, Zootopia has plenty to entice mums and dads to the cinema too.
The comedy-adventure is directed by Byron Howard (Tangled, Bolt) and Rich Moore (Wreck-It Ralph, The Simpsons). Oh, and did we mention Idris Elba as buffalo Chief Bogo?
Zootropolis will be shown as part of the Audi Dublin International Film Festival, which begins on February 18. Click here for scheduling.
